ICT Innovation Programme Incubation Journey
-
Stage 1: Bootcamp (Ideation)
The ICT Bootcamp serves as the entry point into the Propella ICT Programme and is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators who are in the early stages of developing their business ideas. During this intensive session, participants are introduced to key entrepreneurial concepts, including design thinking, business fundamentals, customer validation, problem-solution fit, and pitching techniques. At the conclusion of the bootcamp, participants present their concepts to a selection panel for consideration into the next phase of the programme.

Stage 2: Pre-Incubation
The Pre-Incubation stage focuses on transforming a promising idea into a viable business opportunity. During this stage, participants also begin exploring technology commercialisation strategies and routes to market. The primary objective is to validate both the market need and commercial potential of the solution before investing further resources into product development.
Innovators validate their business opportunity through:
- Market research
- Customer discovery
- Business model development
- Product concept refinement
- Technology commercialisation planning
-
Stage 3: Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
Once a business concept has been validated, entrepreneurs progress to the MVP stage where the focus shifts towards building and testing the first functional version of the product or solution. Participants receive support with business registration, regulatory compliance, brand development, corporate identity creation, and product development activities. Technical mentoring and specialist support are provided to help entrepreneurs design, develop, and test their minimum viable products. This stage enables startups to gather valuable user feedback, improve their offerings, and prepare for market entry.
Entrepreneurs focus on:
- Business registration and compliance
- Brand development and corporate identity
- Product development
- MVP creation and testing
- Technical mentoring and support
-
Stage 4: Revenue Generation
The Revenue Generation stage is aimed at helping entrepreneurs transition from product development to active market participation. Businesses are supported in launching their products or services, acquiring their first customers, validating their revenue models, and strengthening operational capabilities. Entrepreneurs are also connected to market access opportunities, strategic partnerships, and potential customers to accelerate business growth. The focus during this phase is on achieving product-market fit and establishing a sustainable foundation for revenue generation and long-term business success.
-
Stage 5: Scaling and Growth
The final stage of the programme is dedicated to supporting businesses that have demonstrated market traction and are ready for expansion. Entrepreneurs receive assistance in scaling their operations, entering new markets, strengthening governance structures, and improving capacity. Support is also provided to enhance investment readiness, facilitate access to funding opportunities, and attract strategic investors or partners through a Funding Readiness Day event. With ongoing mentorship, networking opportunities, and growth-focused business support, entrepreneurs are equipped to build sustainable, competitive, and investable technology businesses capable of creating significant economic and social impact.
